RAIWIND: Muslim League-Q leader, Ijazul Huque has said that the way public mandate in Punjab was ravaged is highly condemnable.Following a meeting with ML-N Quaid, Mian Nawaz Sharif, Ijaz told media that President Asif Zardari’s actions were similar to that of General Pervez Musharraf’s November 3 action. He said that repealing of 17th Amendment for stabilizing parliamentary system was necessary. He said that Q-League Secretary General, Mushahid Hussain has condemned this action of the government.When quizzed, he said that the Q-League leadership presently not preferring making alliance with anybody and a decision in this regard would be taken after consultations in the party meeting. He said, “Earlier also we wanted all Muslim Leagues united and still we desire so, it is better that all factions get united instead coming to terms with PPP.” He said that if the Q and N League get united, then the Punjab government could be restored tomorrow.
