Protest rallies in many cities against Sharif Brothers’ ineligibility

FAISALABAD: Protests continued also on second day in various cities after the court verdict of ineligibility of Sharif Brothers.

In Faisalabad, main markets are closed and tyres are being burnt on roads while in Mirpurkhas, the PML (N) workers held a protest rally before the Press Club and making a sit-in blocked the traffic.

Protest rallies continue also in Jhuddo, Digri, Tando Jan Mohammad and Sanghar where markets and shops are partially closed.

Traders in Jacobabad had closed their shops but opened after the police assurance whereas in Kashmore, the police arrested 15 persons for violence and shutting down shops.

A protest rally was taken out from the PML (N) district office and is passing through various roads of the city.
